JOURNEYING - ACCESS STATEMENT
Journeying aims to attract a wide range of participants on holidays and welcomes enquiries from all people, irrespective of age and, of physical, intellectual or other disabilities.
In order for individuals to derive maximum enjoyment in a safe environment, Journeying may suggest the person be accompanied on the holiday by a companion or carer who would be familiar with his/her needs on a day-to-day basis.
Journeying would wish to discuss, the itinerary, holiday destination and prospective accommodation with the guest on an individual basis as the trip may include items and features which could pose hazards for disabled people.
Journeying would endeavour to ensure that reasonable adjustments were made where appropriate and possible through sensitive and creative solutions and in co-operation with service providers.
