John Pritchard is also a well-known author and has written a number of books on prayer and spirituality, so we were delighted when he agreed to become our Patron in 2008. Initial links were forged while he was Bishop of Jarrow and he has since been able to come to a team meeting to encourage and advise.
He has shared our vision and passion for Journeying right from that first meeting and has high hopes of joining us on a trip in the near future, time permitting.
Bishop John sees great value in journeying 'on the edge' - as Jesus did in his ministry - and would hope that many more might be able to experience the joy of meeting God in the liminal places to which Journeying takes groups.
